I just got done with lunch with Chris DiBona of VA Research.  Anyways,
he's going to order us a system- probably about 2 weeks for delivery.
Single PII (400Mhz I think), 512MB RAM, 2x9GB disks for mirroring, 2
NIC's. Probably in a rackmount 4U format.  He's going to get me the exact
specs in a few days.  Extra disk space and a second CPU available whenever
we need it.

Al, how's IBM looking as a possible partner for a second machine?  Should
I talk to NaviSite about them hosting the box in their Andover, Mass.
site?  I would rather not bring it up with them unless you're 90% sure you
need it.  (Need to look as little flakey as possible.)

I'll probably setup the box here at work to prep it.  Once preped, I'll
move it to NaviSite or VAR's hosting site in Mountain View.

Also, VAR is going to do a *real* media blitz- NewsWire and everything
about the site when we go live.  Let's make sure we do a site worth the
press!

BTW, is there a IRC meeting this week?  Also, we should have a alternate
contact method other than email.  Something like a phone list (ok, there's
no "something" about it :-).  I know it's long distance, (even longer for
Lenz) but there may be times when we need to contact someone fast.
