gEDA: Dreaming: auto-route

Hi all,
I've just seen the last inkscape announcement at:

It says:
"Connectors: A new indispensable connector tool implements creation,
editing, and auto-routing (object-avoiding) of connector lines between
objects. It is indispensable for drawing diagrams. (Google SoC project)"

Wouldn't be great to have such auto-route in gschem when you are moving
symbols? I'd love we could take in that feature!
