No. I could still work with the non-GL version of pcb.

I found and removed the exit command. As predicted, there is no crash 
anymore. However, I get the quadric error multiple times. Emission of 
these errors is triggered by redraw events when zoomed out. I get about 
ten quadric errors at a time. Redraw seems to work fine anyway.
