I use the Lesstif hid and I actually like scrolling with the wheel (which
is similar with other image/map viewing applications).

However, I just had an idea for a whole different mousewheel behavior:
It could scroll along the selected trace or current rat.  It would be
very handy to zoom in, start a net, then roll the wheel to move in the
general direction of the destination, place another point, etc...
