If we can figure an appropriate way to abstract it, this would take
care of the drawing code for a native OSX or a native Windows
version, in addition to a native motif version
BTW, it may be called the lesstif HID, but I've been building it with
the solaris supplied motif. I haven't gotten around to trying it on
Irix yet though.
