gEDA: gEDA as a GNU Project

You guys have done a fabulous job. I am fairly confident that in few
years gEDA will start replacing the commercial equivalents in the
mainstream.
I appreciate the fact that you chose GNU GPL license and refer to the
OS as GNU/Linux. You might get some more publicity if you get listed
as a GNU project (GNU gEDA) in the Free Software directory.
To register as a GNU project
- Copyright need not be assigned to FSF. It is only required if you
want FSF to defend in the court in case of GPL violations.
- Any GPL compatible license will do.
- Project need not be hosted under Savannah.
