I'd like to see that too.  I think it can help even in cases where you 
just have single instances of each cell.  Take for example something 
like a microstrip filter, or something very sensitive to parasitics like 
a high frequency VCO that lives in a shield can.  It would be useful to 
have those blocks treated as single entities that can be moved around as 
a unit.
