I'd like to add that, if we do a major cleanup of footprints, can we
add a standard footprint extension?  gschem has ".sym", I'm using
".fp" for gedasymbols (it needs *something*).

That would also keep all the Makefiles and scripts out of the "list of
footprints" when you open the library.
