Great to see that this works now.


I installed the rpm package and recognized that the man page does not
work on my suse 10.1 distribution.

Looking into the .spec script in the CVS repository I see that the man
pages are installed to the path /usr/man/man1

Looking at the suse MANPATH:

>echo $MANPATH
/usr/local/man:/usr/share/man:/usr/X11R6/man:/opt/gnome/share/man

shows that it gets set to /usr/share/man.

I am not sure whether this is something standardized?

Is there a way to make the .spec file more flexible and check the
$MANPATH variable before doing installation or is that the reason why
there is the need for rpm packages for every distribution?
