My understanding is that GTK doesn't really support Windows, and it's
support of MacOS X is limited to using the X11 server.

I don't care about the windows support, but I know some do.  I do
somewhat care about MacOS X support though.  I don't actually use MacOS
X, but I do keep longing for one of those nice G5s, which, BTW, run
icarus verilog blazingly fast.
