Yes, I saw it when I had started my project. gerb2tif is written in c++ ,
handles some more Gerber and is more portable since it's not dependent on
any external library. I have separated the parsing stage and the drawing
stage (maybe gerb2tif has too) and my main goal is to view the Gerber on
screen, with the added bonus of backends. I have actually downloaded,
compiled and tested it. I haven't used any code since I have a very hard
time understanding C++.
But I would very much like to have a TIFF backend to gerbv. ;-)
