Hello Scott and all

I use guile 1.4 from Freshmeat. The RPMs can be found at 

http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/index.html

(great place to find missing files and files!!)
the package is designed for RH6.1 but works fine for me. The only conflict 
with RH7 is that the package is older than the original RH guile 1.3.4 (use  
--oldpackage or --force).

The corresponding devel package for compiling gaf is available too.
