gEDA: Automated generation of nets ?

Hi all,

I'm working on a gschem-design with loads of big buses. Ideally I 
would want an utility much like gmk_sym with a calling convention like

   gpin_to_net <device_name> <pin_name> <net_name> <gschem_files>

that allows me to do (pseudocode):

   for i = [00 .. 63] {
     gpin_to_net U1 AD{$i} PCI_P{$i} mydesign*.sch
     gpin_to_net U2 AD{$i} PCI_P{$i} mydesign*.sch
     gpin_to_net U3 P_AD{$i} PCI_P{$i} mydesign*.sch
   }

Is there anything like this out there, or will I have to roll my own ?
