   Hmmm, yeah "noweave". :)  Anyways, you don't really need noweb 
to build or run gschem (from the snapshot tarballs).  I would not 
bother with trying to get noweb working if you don't plan on running
the cvs version.  noweb is optional, if it was required, configure
would fail.
