Hahahah, that can be interesting, but oddly I didn't worry about it
when I did just that!
The pcb layout faithfully reproduced my error as I just work from the
rubberbanding.
When I found it, I just blamed myself for being so innatentive as to name
two components with the same id. Shortly after followed a hunt for the auto
annotation and my email to Ales. The auto annotation works fine, except in
cases
of Q?A etc.
Furthermore I don't use gschem2pcb, preferring to use "gnetlist -gPCB etc" and
select the parts manually in PCB.
I find naming the footprint at schematic time, just too time consuming, and I
can never remember the footprint name anyway.
I'm only posting this to give an alternate idea of other users methods, and not
trying to say anything in particular :)
On the other hand there is *one* thing I'd like to say, gEDA RULES!
Thanks Ales and others ie Stephan, for your hard work, you've made my life
much easier.
ps Ales did you get my schemas of the lightning detector and ESR meter ?
