Thanks for making the pcb application a little more gnome compliant
again. This is the way to go! The GUI guidelines exist for a reason.
BTW: You do the design with a black background, like the majority of pcb
users seems to do. Other EDA tools like protel/altium seem to favor black
background too. What is the rationale for this choice of color scheme?

PS: You might have guessed it --- I am in favor of a light background. My
favorite reason is, that small details like text are better readable
black on white than white on black.
