The end goal of SEUL is to have a comprehensive suite of high-quality applications (productivity applications as well as leisure/programming applications) available under the GPL for the Linux platform, as well as a broader base of educated users around the world who understand why free software is better. SEUL is a volunteer project currently focusing on Linux in education, Linux in science, advocacy documents, managing and coordinating communications between projects, and hosting related development projects.

*Games: A real-time strategy game using the Stratagus game engine.

*Games: A tactical war game in the tradition of Battle Isle.
gEDA
*Engineering: Working on producing a full GPL'd suite of Electronic Design Automation tools.
General Education Online
*Education: A free and open resource database of links to higher education facilities worldwide for researchers, students and others.
gFTP
*System and Network Utilities: A free multithreaded ftp client for *NIX based machines running X11R6 or later.
GPeriodic
*Science: A periodic table application for Linux. It allows you to browse through a periodic table of the elements, and view detailed information on each of the elements. 118 elements are currently listed.
IpTraf
*System and Network Utilities: A console-based network statistics utility for Linux. It gathers a variety of figures such as TCP connection packet and byte counts, interface statistics and activity indicators, TCP/UDP traffic breakdowns, and LAN station packet and byte counts.
Open Collector
*Engineering: Listings and news for free EDA software and circuit designs.
Pingus
*Games: A free Lemmings clone for GNU/Linux and Windows.
Pygame
*Programming: A set of Python modules designed for writing games.
SchoolForge
*Education: Unifying independent organizations that advocate, use, and develop open resources for primary and secondary education.
Tiny Linux
*Distributions and Standards: A small Linux distribution designed especially for old recycled computers.
WorldForge
*Games: Fostering an independent community in which many free games can develop and evolve with unique roleplaying-oriented worlds and rules, running on a wide selection of server and client implementations with a standard networking protocol tying everything together.
